Hi Keenan,

I received your email and wanted to say thanks for keeping this old flame burning.  It's been awhile since I've even cracked open the C:NR box much less played it.  However, I'm still proud of that first-time writing/directing effort.  I still keep the intro flic up on my filmmaking website for fans and clients alike.  You can find the short film, scripts, and production notes at:

One note:  The two elite Silencers killed in the opening flic are named Vittek and Zurovek after lead designer Mark Vittek and producer Tony Zurovek.  :)

Nice to see you posted here. When the Crusader was out and i first launched it, i remember how i said.. WOW... nice intro!

Yeah, Crusader is a flame that should never go out, it's such an amazing game. I hope you continue to come to this site. This is only the beginning! Maybe in a couple years once it starts growing in population, EA might think about another game! (And you can do the intro movie.  :))

It's great to see the fans coming here... Sure there's only 10 registered users, but that's a great amount! Please advertise on other boards!

I loved the intro to CNR, man.  Loved it.  RAWK 'N' ROOL!  *throws up the horns*

In retrospect, I have one problem with it, which I know can be explained away with technological limitations.  Well, two, but I assume that if the third Crusader were ever made it the second would have been gotten looked into.

First: ...are Colonel Zurovec and Major Vittek just utterly incompetent, or how was it that two Silencers were killed in less than five seconds by a single Vetron--and one mounting only PA-31s or perhaps RP-32s, at that?  (I know, I know; a proper ambush enough to kill two Silencers quickly enough that they can't escape but one survives would be pretty tricky back in '95.)

Second: So why, aside from creating a mystery, was the Captain not given a name?  Had they deleted his file first?
